Suburban Plains

A blend of rural and urban.

Welcome to Suburban Plains

Mountainview homes with friendly communities

The suburban plains region of Colorado is a wonderful, sprawling area with open spaces and peaceful residential areas. A blend of rural and urban, you’ll find cozy coffee shops, hip arts and culture scenes, and a variety of restaurants and shopping options.

Most homes in the suburban plains are positioned on larger lots, in comparison to the nearby cities, and you will find a variety of new construction neighborhoods, farmhouses, luxury estates, and horse properties. The privacy and panoramic views are unmatched.

People & Lifestyle

The neighborhoods and towns of the suburban plains are particularly friendly. Residents tend to value community, nature, health, and peace in their communities. You’ll find that the locals like to get outside often and enjoy events and celebrations within the city.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

The plains prides itself on having some of the best breweries in the area. Oskar Blues Brewery is one of the best, and with a rich and intriguing history. In 2002, Oskar Blues became the first brewery to put craft beer in a can! There are three Colorado locations: Boulder, Longmont, and Oak Room. Enjoy their cold flagship beer, Dale’s Pale Ale, with live music lifting the mood.

Need your caffeine fix? Crema Coffee House is one of the best and most popular coffee shops in Denver because everything is made from scratch. The artsy cafe with a petite and quirky menu has fun, satisfying options. The selection of espresso is dynamic, with roasters from both in and out of state. Try the delicious breakfast burrito or beet salad, then take a loop around the other fun restaurants and cafes at The Denver Central Market.

Hygiene Feed and Supply is a pet store with great prices. It’s called one of the best by locals because of the extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. A little-known fact is that they offer wash and repair services for horse blankets and can help you load your goods into your vehicle! For more boutiques and local shopping, you can choose one of the many noted Colorado malls and commerce areas: Pearl Street Mall in Boulder

Greenbriar Sunday Brunch is not just a place to eat—it’s an experience. The mouthwatering Boulder staple serves fresh fruit and a champagne buffet brunch complete with jumbo shrimp cocktail, oysters, chef-prepared omelets, and so much more. Be sure to eat out on the gorgeous garden patio, where you’ll be surrounded by 20 acres of green gardens, flowers, ponds, and woodland right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Don’t forget to try some of the award-winning wine from the cellar!

Like to get outdoors? Boulder Valley Ranch Trailhead is a favorite outdoor space for residents. Bring your bikes, pups, or even your horse for a day outdoors on the 2.6-mile Eagle Trail or the 1.8-mile Sage Trail. It’s a present and working historic ranch with an abundance of wildlife, including eagles, northern harriers, red-tailed hawks, deer, and coyotes.
